Although Outlook Valley #2 is a fantasy location it is one that was inspired by my personal collection of photos of Texas during bluebonnet season. The fresh spring grass, big Texas sky, wild flowers and a rolling countryside that goes forever. This combination of sights from many locations across Texas is what I tried to embrace in this one piece. I hope the viewer will enjoy the variety of elements representing a spring day in Texas.
Techniques Hand inked(Tsukineko Dye) and colored fabrics, hand embroidery and stitching.
Materials Recycled denim, hand inked satin and silk, inks, paint and markers, recycled wool.
