Crazy Quilt - Tea Time Memories

 

A gift of a beautiful tea cozy and set of napkins was the inspiration for this piece.

The layout for the piece was 6 individual blocks, each block was rectangular in shape. To me the shape gave the feeling of place mats set out for a special occasion.

The finished piece is 28" X 23 .5".  It is a true quilt with backing and wool from recycled clothing for batting.

Embroidered linens, cotton, silk, satin, embroidery floss, silk ribbon, yarns, vintage lace, buttons, jewelry, pieces, sequins, charms, and more!

Embroidery, hand and machine stitched.
