Hope you enjoy this little doll quilt embellished with hand stitching.
This piece started off as a study of embroidery designs.
I used a large white and green
dot fabric as a base for the embroidery work.
Hand embroidery is done with hot pink pearl cotton thread.
The little doll in the top corner I made as an "Inspiration" buddy.
Two corners are embellished with raw appliqued flowers, hand embroidery
and free motion stitching. Finished at 15" X 15".
Finished doll quilt has a cotton backing and is quilted on my domestic machine.
