Doll Quilt #4

Today's post is more fun with doll quilts.

Using leftover 2.5" squares I decided to play with making half square triangles. (You can also see my Grandma's Button box, doll quilt #3 for work with half square triangles).

Quilting for this project was done with Superior Thread- Rainbow. Quilting was done using my domestic machine. This was also an experiment using  two new quilt design ideas. I think both will be used again as I really liked them.

The finished quilt is 19" X 18".

It was also fun to show off my child's Singer sewing machine. This is a toy I used a a child. I'm missing the clamp that was used to hold it to a table.  And, somewhere I still have the instruction book but, of course, I couldn't put my hand on it today when I wanted it.  But what great memories!

Hope you are having a wonderful day.
