Working on using up all those scrapes, during these days of stay at home. These pieces have been around for a few years now. They are leftovers from a wedding quilt.
Not really enough blocks for a quilt so just a table runner and matching mug rugs. I think they will work out great on the porch?
I just love the fun summer colors.

Quilting patterns:
The leaf design is one I really like. I've used the leaf alone and in combination on a lot of my quilts.
I also wanted to try some new quilting ideas. The flower design is "Tulip Time", the trees " Easy Trees" and the Houses "Home Sweet Home" from Lori Kennedy's book Free Motion Machine Quilting 1-2-3 (That Patchwork Place). Lori has some really cute ideas and great instructions.
It's fun to try something new and working on a small items makes it less overwhelming.
Matching mug rugs were an experiment in doing different types of binding.
This is the wedding quilt the scrapes came from. I love this quilt! The center of the quilt is from a pattern by Char Hopeman called Double Rings (I added my own border design to get the right size) .I also used the Zig-Zag ruler by Char Hopeman.
Have a wonderful day! Stay healthy.
