QUILTCON!!
I
was lucky enough to make the drive to Austin, TX last week for
QUILTCON. What fun and inspiration. I saw some wonderful quilts,
shopped and heard some great lectures. I'm not comfortable with
posting photos of other people or their work but please go to the
QUILTCON homepage or look up the Modern Quilt Guild for more
information and photos. If you have the opportunity to go to one of
the Modern Quilt Guild's future events it is a wonderful time.
With
our recent cross country move I feel like I haven't had much to post
about. Unpacking, minor decorating, and just finding my way around
our new area has kept me busy. I have made three quick quilt tops
for charity. And, I've been chain piecing 2&1/2” squares for a
future project. These projects have helped me clean and reset my
machine as well as start the process of setting up my new sewing
area. Work
also has been continuing on my pink crazy quilt blocks. It's always
hard to know when to stop when crazy quilting “Just one more...”
always seems like such a good idea?
Hopefully more interesting projects to show soon.
