As I try to do every year, I entered several items in my local county fair. Entering your artwork can be a bit stressful but it is also lots of fun. Hearing comments from judges as well as the public is a wonderful learning experience.
This year I was excited to win not one but two Grand Champion ribbons!

The Phipps Center for the Arts.
The same week as the fair I entered two items in the members show at the Phipps Center for the Arts. As you can imagine organizing all that has made for a busy but exciting month.
