Quilt-Christmas

Merry Christmas Eve

Wall hanging done in 2013 with my local quilt guild.  Pattern unknown.
Each person makes the basic poinsettias pattern using fused flowers and leaves on a black fabric. This pattern is then cut into four blocks.  Each person keeps one block and three blocks are given one to each of three other members. This means that each person will have four blocks; one of  theirs and one form three friends.  You then resew the four blocks back together and finish as you liked.  After putting the blocks together I added  hand embroidery, ribbons, embellishments and machine quilting (a micro pebble design).
A fun idea and great memory quilt of my time at guild.
My finished piece now hangs in my house as part of our Christmas tradition.
