I've been working on this crazy quilt wall hanging for a few months and it feels great to be done.
It's always hard when crazy quilting to know when a piece is finished.
It's exciting to keep adding more and more items.
But, I also think a piece needs some spaces for rest.
Hopefully I've found that combination on this piece as I now call it quits.

Finished size 20" X 16 3/4"
Silk ribbon, embroidery floss, old and new buttons, beads, charms, vintage lace.
The focal pieces are a small landscapes painted and stitched on linen. I then added raw edge applique and covered them in a net. These pieces were cut from a larger piece I did several years ago.It was a piece that never really worked for me. Sometimes revisiting something and being willing to redo it can lead to a much better piece. As smaller pieces these landscapes became more intense and much more meaningful.

Original piece which was cut up.
Now on the the next one!!!
