Split Rail Fence

More experimenting with Split Rail Fence designs. Both quilts have cotton backs and were quilted on my domestic sewing machine.
This is a simple Split Rail Fence design. I used 6 rails in each block.  Loved working with the bright colors.

For this Split Rail Fence layout I  adapted some of the blocks by cutting them on the bias and piecing them back as blocks.  I love the movement that was  created and also the addition of the black and white fabric    for an extra visual effect.
