Postage Stamp

In 2014 I made a queen size postage stamp quilt.  This quilt started out as a way to downsize my stash. However it ended up being a memory quilt. The memories of past quilts, garments and other projects were so sweet as I worked on this quilt. 

Even tho this quilt contained over 7000 pieces I still ended up with a stack of leftovers.
So in 2016 I completed two quilts with some of these scrapes. The first is 60" square and was an experiment in making a basket weave design.
The second quilt also use some of the same scrapes but in a strip design. I also add fused on flowers with buttonhole stitch details.
All three quilts have cotton backs and are quilted on my domestic sewing machine.
